The F&B Products being Affected by Trump's Trade War
It's not just Tech Companies like Huawei that are feeling the heat
With recent buzz about Huawei's ban from using Google's services, what other casualties are there as a result of Trump's aggressive global Trade War? Since this is a blog that focuses on the F&B industry, we'll let the tech experts weigh in on the whole Huawei issue and we'll be providing some information on the F&B products that are taking a hit because of the Trade War.
Trade War Background
Trump has implemented a policy of tariffs that target a variety of foreign goods such as [1] "foreign steel and aluminum, tech goods and other consumer products made abroad." Because of this, some of America's major trade partners have started to feel the heat and are now retaliating with some tariffs of their own. Trade partners that are less-than-pleased with the US include Canada, China, the European Union, and Turkey.
CANADA - $12.8 billion worth of American goods affected
After the US slapped a tariff on steel and aluminium imports, Canada implemented some tariffs of their own on American goods. Below is a list of products affected by economic hostilities between Canada and the US.

The trade war between the US and China may be the fiercest of the lot. Since the two global superpowers both have plenty of leverage, neither is willing to back down from the Trade War, and each seems to be implementing more and more tariffs in retaliation to escalating tensions. Below are the F&B products affected by the US-China trade war.
