About the Role
- We are looking for a talented and competitive Sales Development Representative who has the ability to accelerate the lead generation engine by relentlessly hunting for new leads via outbound prospecting, cold calling, and qualifying inbound leads.
- You will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious merchant acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
What You'll do
- Conduct thorough research on target markets to identify potential customers.
- Sourcing new sales opportunities via cold calling & reaching out to inbound leads given.
- Qualifying leads based on predetermined criteria, ensuring they align with our target customer profile.
- Routing qualified leads to the appropriate sales specialist for closure.
- Nurture leads through effective communication and relationship-building techniques to progress them further into the sales funnel.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine lead generation campaigns and strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and customer information in our CRM system.
What You'll Need
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in a lead generation or business development role, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- F&B tech background is a plus.
- Strong initiative, detail-oriented, autonomous while being collaborative.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
- Knowledge of the food industry or a passion for food technology is a plus.
